Teach a Workshop with us
Becoming an Instructor at Sea Goat Farmstand & Folk School
Sea Goat Farmstand & Folk School welcomes instructors who are excited to share practical skills, traditional crafts, and creative knowledge with our community. We aim to make teaching accessible, collaborative, and well-supported.
To participate as an instructor, you will need to submit an application (below). Once your workshop has been approved, Sea Goat Folk School will:
Create a custom flyer for your workshop
Upload the class to our website so the community can easily view details, and sign up & pay online
Promote the class on our website and across our social media platforms
List the workshop on The North Coast Journal’s Community Calendar, and other community calendars
Sea Goat Folk School handles class registration and payment processing through our website. On the day of the workshop, instructors receive a check for 65% of the total class revenue collected.
Instructors are responsible for leading the workshop and providing any necessary materials (unless otherwise arranged). We value transparency, fair compensation, and community connection, and we’re excited to collaborate with instructors who align with the spirit of the Folk School.
If you have a class idea or skill you’d like to share, we’d love to hear from you.
